Learning at FETC
Attending FETC 2010 was as usual a fantastic experience. Learning how to promote 21st Century Skills is without doubts, a challenge. By providing tools for project, exploration, and discovery, our students are demonstrating creativity and understanding. I have been adapting my curriculum with "hands on" projects learned at several sessions of pre-conference and Discovery Educator Network. My students are using their writing with pictures, images, videos and audio narration. They can share their ideas online and in class presentations.
Glogster, NetTrekker, BrainPop, and streaming from Discovery Educators Network had been invaluable and essential tools in developing this 21st Century communication skills in my classroom.
